Dr. Costanza di Francesco Maesa
Costanza Di Francesco Maesa is a Post-Doc Researcher in International Law at the University of Florence, Law Department. She holds a Double Doctoral Diploma in European Union Law according to a co-tutorship agreement between the University of Bologna and the University of Strasbourg. She has been a Post-Doctoral researcher in European Law at the University of Torino, Law Department, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Siena. She spent one-year research period abroad at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg im Breisgau and at the Queen Mary University of London. She has been part of several European projects and she participated as a speaker in several International conferences. She has already published several articles in top-level European journals. Her main research interests relate to International and European Law, with a focus on new technologies, accountability issues, European Criminal and Immigration law, International and Environmental Law, Human Rights law, and especially data protection law.
