Dr. Luca Poltronieri Rossetti
Luca Poltronieri Rossetti is postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Law, Politics and Development of Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, where he is currently working on a research project on the human rights impact of illicit trade in Syria and Iraq. Before joining Sant’Anna he obtained a Master’s Degree in Law and a PhD in International Law from the University of Trento (Italy), where he has been teaching assistant in the courses of international law and the law of international organizations. His research mainly focuses on international criminal law and procedure. In the past he has interned with the Trial Chamber of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and he has been visiting scholar at the Amsterdam Center for International Law.
